    Clear fills, or a river

    A river table sets two slabs apart and fills the channel between them, so the edges that ran along the outside of the tree become its banks. Clear resin as standard; grey, black or another colour to order.

    Wood character / grain notes

    Straight grain, cathedral figure at one end. Two knots filled flush with clear resin. Pale sapwood streak along one live edge. Both slabs cut from the same log.

    • Surface treatment and protection
    • Final assembly and quality inspection

    Additional production notes

    Air-dried two years, kiln to 8% moisture. 1 cm gap, edges kept as the tree grew. Three coats of oil, rubbed in by hand.
