At the group’s own sawmills the log is cut thick enough to stay solid all the way through, then dried slowly in its kilns. From here, every slab has a number.

At the workshop two slabs are paired, laid out, stabilised and flattened by hand. Where a knot or crack opens, clear resin fills it: knots are kept, never cut away. Walnut can carry large fills, oak a few, ash usually none.
